I offer 2-day presentation bootcamps with in-depth training in storytelling, creating slides and delivering a convincing presentation. Alternatively, you can book separate modules as workshops of 2-3 hours or book me for individual consultancy.

Science communication bootcamp

Interested into diving deep into science communication? Do you want to see yourself transform into a confident storyteller? Then join a science communication bootcamp!

Hoe zorg je ervoor dat je oom begrijpt wat je doet? Hoe houd je de aandacht van je luisteraar vast tijdens je conferentie talk? In ons volledige opleidingsprogramma leiden we onderzoekers op tot zelfverzekerde verhalenvertellers.

In de eerste module duiken we in de theorie van storytelling en gebruiken we voorbeelden uit je favoriete films om je eigen wetenschappelijke verhaal te schrijven. Een tweede module richt zich op de uitvoering van je presentatie: met lichaamstaaloefeningen in een veilige setting leer je je zenuwen achter je te laten op het podium. Alles komt samen in een rollenspel, waarin we elkaars presentaties oefenen en analyseren. Je wandelt naar huis met een gepersonaliseerd wetenschapsverhaal voor je volgende presentatie.

Bij de training ontvang je een samenvattend boekje vol handige sjablonen en tips voor het leven.
